The Coral Gables Branch Library will host a special musical event titled “Oldies but Goodies,” celebrating Older Americans Month this Saturday, May 24, from noon to 1:00 p.m.. The performance features violinist Belinda Niling Stohner and cellist Jose Pradas of the Miami-based ensemble Baby B Strings.
Attendees can expect a nostalgic journey through the 1950s, ’60s, and ’70s, with string arrangements of classics by artists such as Elvis Presley, The Carpenters, and Andy Williams. Baby B Strings is known for blending classical and pop music, performing in diverse venues from concert halls to unconventional spaces. Their mission is to make classical music accessible and engaging for all audiences.
