Finding parking in Downtown Coral Gables is no longer a guessing game. The City of Coral Gables has launched an updated Downtown Parking Map, designed to make it easier for residents and visitors to navigate the city’s garages, lots and valet options near Miracle Mile and Giralda Plaza.
A map built for convenience
The new map highlights every municipal garage, public lot, private lot, and valet station in the downtown core, along with paseos, the pedestrian walkways that connect parking areas to the shopping and dining district.
Parking rates are clearly listed: $1 per 24 minutes in garages, $4 per hour in lots, and $3.50 per hour on the street. Valet service is available for $15, with a unique twist — cars can be dropped off at one valet station and retrieved from another anywhere along Miracle Mile.
The map is available both online and in print at the Coral Gables Museum and Chamber of Commerce visitor centers. Digital kiosks placed around the city now feature QR codes that allow users to download the map directly to their phones for real-time navigation.
Technology meets tradition
According to the city’s Parking Department, the new guide integrates seamlessly with Pay-by-Phone and ParkMobile, two mobile payment platforms already popular among local drivers. Together, these updates reflect Coral Gables’ broader effort to make downtown mobility more intuitive, blending modern convenience with the city’s signature charm.
The map also spotlights trolley routes and Freebee on-demand rides, which connect major garages to Miracle Mile and nearby office corridors — reinforcing the city’s push for multimodal access and fewer traffic bottlenecks during peak hours
Where to park
Downtown Coral Gables now offers more than a dozen public garages and surface lots, including:
- Garage 1 (Andalusia & LeJeune Road)
- Garage 2 (Andalusia & Ponce de Leon Boulevard)
- Garage 4 (Giralda Avenue near Galiano Street)
- Garage 6 (Aragon Avenue near Salzedo Street)
- Lots 7, 13, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 30, and 36, distributed across the shopping and dining district.
With so many centralized options — plus valet, trolley, and pedestrian paseos — visitors can “park once and play all day.”
A more walkable, connected downtown
City officials describe the initiative as part of Coral Gables’ continuing investment in a walkable, visitor-friendly downtown. The map’s clear design reflects the city’s Mediterranean aesthetic while emphasizing accessibility, safety, and efficiency.
“Whether you’re planning a night out, a weekend stroll, or a quick shopping trip, downtown parking is simpler, faster, and more convenient than ever,” the city’s announcement said.
The 2025 Downtown Parking Map represents a small but meaningful improvement for a city that prides itself on blending beauty with function — helping both residents and visitors spend less time circling and more time enjoying the City Beautiful.

A step forward. Still, light years behind interactive parking in use in the private sector.
It’s not optimal to know where the garages are if you can’t find out how many, if any, spaces are available till you drive there.
An app that tells REAL TIME availability of parking sites at each facility would be in order
