Coral Gables is serving a full slate of Halloween fun this month, with nine city-sponsored events spanning pumpkin picking, sensory-friendly trick-or-treating, classic scares, and an adults-only crawl on the Mile. Here’s everything on the calendar so you can plan the perfect spooky season.
Pumpkin Patch — Ponce Circle Park
Saturday, Oct. 18 at 2 p.m.
Kick off the season at Ponce Circle Park with an afternoon pumpkin patch. Bring the family, browse for the perfect jack-o’-lantern, and grab those fall photo ops before sunset. A $12 ticket includes one pumpkin and entry for four guests at the pumpkin patch enclosed area.
Spooktacular Halloween (Youth Center – Tumblebees)
Friday, Oct. 24, 6–9 p.m. — Coral Gables War Memorial Youth Center
The Youth Center’s Tumblebees space turns festive for an evening of kid-friendly Halloween fun—costumes welcome. Expect games, activities, and plenty of seasonal spirit for younger residents.
Adult Activity Center Spooktacular Halloween Bash
Friday, Oct. 24, 1–4 p.m. — Adult Activity Center
Earlier that same day, older adults get their own celebration with music, mingling, costumes, and treats. A daytime bash made for dancing and selfies with friends.
Gentle Trick-or-Treat
Saturday, Oct. 25 at 1 p.m. — Ruth Bryan Owen Waterway Park
Designed with accessibility in mind, Gentle Trick-or-Treat offers low-noise stations and a calm setting so every child can enjoy Halloween comfortably.
Trick-or-Treat on the Mile
Saturday, Oct. 25, 3–6 p.m. — Miracle Mile
Downtown businesses open their doors for the city’s official trick-or-treat. Costumed kids can collect candy from participating merchants along the Mile—come early and bring a bag. Families can participate in an array of activities, including face painting, balloon artistry, book readings, and a magic show. This event is free to the public.
Pumpkin Float at the Country Club
Sunday, Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. — Coral Gables Golf & Country Club
Light up the night by floating your pre-carved, LED-lit pumpkin at the club pool. A picturesque Coral Gables tradition and a perfect family photo moment. There will be a pumpkin carving, deliciously spooky snacks, and watch as your creations float in the pool. Prizes will be awarded for the best pumpkin carvings.
My Squad Movie Showing: The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Wednesday, Oct. 29, 6–9 p.m. — Ruth Bryan Owen Waterway Park
Dress up and sing along at an outdoor screening of the cult favorite. A playful mid-week pick for teens and adults who like their Halloween with audience participation.
Nightmare on 405 Haunted House
Friday, Oct. 31, 6:30–9:30 p.m. — War Memorial Youth Center
On Halloween night, the Youth Center becomes a walk-through haunted maze. Best for brave teens and adults who enjoy jump scares and spooky sets. $6.50 per ticket.
Drink-or-Treat on the Mile
Friday, Oct. 31, 6–10 p.m. — Multiple Downtown Locations
Close out the season with an adults-only crawl featuring themed sips and bites across Miracle Mile. Costumes encouraged; gather your crew and make a night of it.
