Coral Gables will welcome the New Year in classic fashion as the Biltmore Hotel hosts its New Year’s Eve Dessert Soirée & Fireworks on Wednesday night, Dec. 31, continuing a long-standing tradition that blends elegance, spectacle, and celebration at one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

Beginning at 10 p.m. and continuing into the early hours of Jan. 1, the event offers a refined alternative to crowded club scenes, pairing cocktail-party glamour with one of Coral Gables’ most anticipated fireworks displays.

Fireworks over the golf course at midnight

As midnight approaches, the Biltmore’s historic golf course becomes the backdrop for a choreographed fireworks show, visible across the property and timed to mark the arrival of 2026. The display has become a signature moment of the hotel’s New Year’s Eve celebration, drawing guests who prefer a shared, open-air countdown rather than a confined indoor setting.

Desserts, champagne and a late-night celebration

Rather than a formal dinner, the evening centers on indulgence. Guests can expect an expansive dessert experience featuring a variety of sweets and confections, paired with a premium open bar throughout the night. Champagne is poured as the countdown nears, culminating in a collective toast as fireworks light the sky.

Cocktail attire and classic ambiance

Cocktail attire sets the tone, reinforcing the event’s emphasis on timeless celebration rather than novelty. The Biltmore’s Mediterranean Revival architecture and historic interiors provide a setting that feels both festive and rooted in tradition—an atmosphere that has defined many of the hotel’s most enduring events.

Tickets, age requirements and advance purchase

Tickets are priced at $250 per person, inclusive of tax and service charge, with member discounts available. Attendance is limited to guests 21 and older. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are nonrefundable after Dec. 21, reflecting the high demand typically associated with the Biltmore’s New Year’s Eve programming.

The hotel also notes that the event may be filmed or photographed for advertising, social media and news coverage.
