Coral Gables Parking Lot No. 8, located at 238 Giralda Ave., is temporarily closed for renovations until July 7. The city is undertaking this project to enhance safety, accessibility, and the overall user experience.
The renovation work includes resurfacing and restriping the asphalt, installing an electric vehicle (EV) charging station, upgrading lighting, and adding new landscaping. While the city aims to complete the project by July 7, efforts are being made to finish sooner if possible.

During the closure, motorists are encouraged to use the following nearby parking facilities
- Giralda Place Residences – 275 Giralda Ave.
- City Parking Garage 2 – 220 Aragon Ave.
- City Parking Lot 3 – 380 Aragon Ave.
These alternatives are within close proximity to Lot 8 and offer convenient access to the surrounding areas.
