    Meh…we are a local burg, not South Beach. This extension of Calle Ocho simply raises the decibels and lowers our standards, attracting folks who will never come back and pay for our restaurants and facilities — only freebies.
    I’d much rather enjoy the majestic Mile without a bunch of tents on it.
    Did I see an association of the festival with the Seminole Hard Rock? Not sure

    It’s not what it was… no quality entertainment, not many quality art. Carnaval On The Mile needs a facelift, Coral Gables needs a qualified entertainment department. The tents on the mile look dated and cheap.
