This weekend, Coral Gables offers a variety of events for residents and visitors to enjoy. Here’s a summary of the scheduled activities:

Saturday, March 15, 2025:

  • Farmers Market at Merrick Park: Taking place in front of City Hall at 405 Biltmore Way, the Coral Gables Farmers Market operates from 8:00am to 2:00pm. Visitors can explore a variety of fresh produce, artisanal goods, and other local products.
  • Coral Market Vintage: A vintage market at the Coral Gables Merrick House. from 11:00am – 5:00pm. Support local + sustainable.

Sunday, March 16, 2025:

  • Gables Bike Tours: In collaboration with Bike Walk Coral Gables, the Coral Gables Museum offers educational bike tours around the city. Participants can enjoy a guided ride while learning about local history and landmarks. The tour leaves from the Coral Gables Youth Center (405 University Drive) and last approximately 2 hours | Tickets are $10; $5 for Museum members and children under 12. Bike tour tickets and more information. Event is scheduled from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
  • Bike and BBQ – Gables Cycle Day: The City of Coral Gables and Bike Walk Coral Gables invite cycling enthusiasts to the annual Bike & BBQ event. This community gathering combines a group bike ride with a barbecue, promoting active living and community engagement. This 11-mile tour starts at the War Memorial Youth Center and ends with a BBQ-style picnic at Matheson Hammock Park. Enjoy live music, lawn games and refreshments, then join our optional safe ride back to the Youth Center. This ride is in partnership with the City of Coral Gables, Dade Heritage Trust and No Boundaries Sport, who will be available on site to inspect participant’s bikes. Advanced registration is recommended. A goodie bag will be provided to all participants with advanced ticket purchases.
  • From Folk to Classical Concert: The Alhambra Orchestra presents a free, family-friendly concert featuring small ensembles performing folk-inspired music from around the world. Under the direction of Artistic Director Daniel Andai, musicians will bring to life traditional tunes from England, Romania, Ireland, Spain, Russia, Latin America, and the U.S., as arranged by renowned composers like O’Connor, Vaughan Williams, Copland, Bartók, and Dvořák. Attendees will have the opportunity to see individual orchestral instruments up close in an intimate historic church setting. As Miami’s community orchestra, the Alhambra Orchestra aims to make live classical music accessible to all. The concert will take place at the Coral Gables Congregational Church (3010 De Soto Blvd.) at 7:30pm.
